TeleRay has the built-in ability to import DICOM or non-DICOM images from a CD, DVD, or a folder on your PC.

How To:

Open your TeleRay software and select the "Import Media" icon on the top left of the program. Select the folder within the CD or DVD that contains the images, or from a folder on your computer that contains the images.

Once selected, you must select the type of file you want to be imported from the folder.
Your options are .BMP, DICOM, .GIF, .JPG, JPG2000, .PNG, and .TIF.

If you would like to import the files as well as forward them to your PACS, then check "Forward After Import".

You will then be shown the demographics screen where you can change the study information for each file. The only fields required for an import are "Last" and "ID" which can be a mix of characters or numbers.

If you are importing files from a patient already within you PACS system, you can import the demographics by clicking the button "Select PACS Study" and searching for the patient.
